Invitation To Tender: Roof Repair Contractor

Introduction: Heifer International – Kenya (HPI-K), a branch office of Heifer International (HPI) in the USA has a mission of working with communities to end hunger, poverty and enhance care for earth.

To achieve this mission, HPI-K provides livestock and livestock related services to resource limited and vulnerable communities that are organized in groups. The Kenya headquarters are located in Nairobi, Ndama Place situated along Kabarnet Road, off Ngong Road.

We hereby invite tenders for replacement of the existing concrete roof tiles with approved stone coated roofing tiles. The works shall entail stripping off the existing concrete roofing tiles and underlay, a thorough inspection of the timber roof structure and repairs where necessary and laying of the new stone coated roof tiles complete with all appropriate finishes and paintings. The existing roof covering is approximately 400 square metres.

Requirements

Interested bidders are expected at their own cost, to visit the site, determine the scope of works and submit a quote for undertaking the works. The quote should be in the form of a Bills of Quantities and indicating the timelines for undertaking the works.

The bidders at a minimum should provide the following

  • Company Profile,
  • Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
  • NCA registration Certificate, minimum category Class 5.

The bidders must submit a complete tender document in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked “Tender for Roof Repair for Heifer Projects International”

The sealed bids should be delivered to our offices located at Ndama Place, Kabarnet Road, Ngong Road on or before Wednesday 20 June 2018, 12.00 noon where they shall be opened immediately thereafter.
